We at Reverse Backing Systems want to make sure the installation of your vehicle safety system goes smoothly, whether it's a rearview camera, parking sensor, or special system. Following are the options we offer for installing your new system and making your car safer.
Nationwide Car Safety System Installation Assistance
We are hooked up with a network of over 5,000 capable installers all over the country. We'll help you find an installer near you who is certified and experienced, taking the searching job off your hands. Installation rates for vehicle safety systems can start anywhere from $75 to around $175, depending on where you live, the type of system, and what type of vehicle you have.
Here's how we help set up your installation:
Step One: Place your order by phone or online and schedule installation at that time. If you call your order in to us, many times we can reduce or waive the $20 service fee. When you call, be sure to let us know what kind of vehicle your car safety system will be installed on.
Step Two: You'll receive an email within one business day from the time of your order containing the name of the installation company, and also the contact person, address, number and quote information.
Step Three: Contact your installer and set up a time to get your backing safety system installed. Installations usually take about 1.5 to 2 hours. You pay the installer for the work at the time of the install.
It's that simple! In nearly every case, the cost of your car safety system and its installation is less than it would be if you purchased the system on a new car.

Self Installation
If you have experience with car electronics installation, you might want to install your car safety system yourself. Installation of the parking sensors is a simple process that should take only one or two hours, and would save you $75-$175!
There are three main steps in the installation process:
1. Drilling holes in the bumper with the drill bit we provide.
2. Running power wires from the controller to the reverse lights on the rear bumper. Simply identify which wire goes to the reverse light, and tap into it with the controller power wire.
3. Hide the speaker or LCD wires under the carpet or corner panel and run them up to the front of the car for attachment to the speaker or LCD.
If, at any time during your self-installation, you encounter a problem, call us and we can walk you through the installation and help you over any rough spots. Detailed installation manuals are below.
